About
About this directory
promptengineer.me is a thin directory of prompt engineering material, maintained for people who do the work rather than write about it.
What gets listed
Anything that helps someone write, test, or maintain prompts in a real system: provider documentation, evaluation approaches, tooling, write-ups of techniques that held up in practice, and places where practitioners compare notes.
What does not
Prompt packs of dubious provenance, engagement-farming thread roundups, and anything whose main claim is that it is a secret. If an entry cannot be summarised in a sentence without marketing language, it does not belong here.
How entries are handled
Entries are Markdown files in a Git repository, validated at build time against a schema. Every entry needs a title, a one-paragraph summary, and a category; a source link and tags are optional. New files default to draft, so an entry is invisible on the site until someone explicitly marks it published.
The site is built with Astro as a fully static bundle and deployed to Cloudflare Pages. There is no database, no account system, and no tracking beyond what the host records by default.
Editorial stance
Entries are descriptions, not endorsements. There are no ratings or rankings, because a resource that is right for one workflow is often wrong for another. Where a caveat matters, it is stated in the entry.
Corrections
If a listed resource has moved, changed substantially, or is described inaccurately, a correction is welcome — see the contact page.
